Evan Raskob
Evan is a freelance programmer (works for Jason Bruges Studio) and HE lecturer who suggests: "I've got a few Wii remotes, a drawing tablet, and a Beringer control box of 32 light-up knobs that works via midi. As for software, I've got Processing, MaxMSP/Jitter, PureData, OpenFrameWorks, and Dave Griffiths's (of slub) Fluxus audio-visual software that I could show/help with. I'm teaching Processing & MaxMSP this term, so I'm a bit front-loaded with more of those examples, from beginner to intermediate, although I'm always happy to show some advanced techniques and tricks. I also have an Arduino lying about here, and may be able to use one of JBS's sensor boxes (I still have one here for testing)."

Evan will be joining us from Wednesday 'til Saturday and providing coding support.

Nir Bakshy - Sonalog - Gypsy MIDI system TBC
A Brighton based company involved in Motion Capture & Tracking. "The GypsyMIDI is a unique performance instrument for motion-capture midi control, featuring extensive customization to enable a wide range of musical and visual applications. Digiville is Lighthouse's monthly event for digital and moving image artists. Each event incorporates a diverse cross-section of the digital arts community, from installation artists to animators and VJs, and involves an initial presentation of work, either by individual artists or artist groups, followed by a Q&A/discussion session. The artists invited to present their work or perform are a careful mix of well-known names and less established artists.

For this special Digiville team members from the Cybersonica AV Lab including artists Steve Symons and Ray Lee, special guests such as 80s pop icon Martyn Ware and selected participants will present and answer questions about their work.
